About the position
We are currently looking for a Part time Dockworker to join our UPS Family. Our Dock Workers successfully and safely load and unload freight throughout the shift using a forklift or manually in a safe, efficient manner. Will perform work associated with warehousing, package handling, and other related duties as assigned by Supervisor on site. Would need to have flexible scheduling availability to include the third shift, evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Excellent pay and health benefit.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and document items for accounting purposes and report damages.
- Maintain the dock facilities.
Requirements
- Ability to think quickly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Forklift experience a must.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in warehouse conditions.
