About the position

The Psychologist will play a crucial role in the Collaborative Care Program for Mental Health, providing clinical supervision to behavioral health specialists, delivering direct patient care, and supporting various program aspects. This part-time position involves consultation, training, and the development of care pathways to ensure effective patient management and outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a clinical supervisor for behavioral health specialists.
  • Provide consultation and support for day-to-day management of patient concerns.
  • Develop and implement care pathways for appropriate levels of care.
  • Create evidence-based strategies for short-term therapy for patients.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and contribute to program optimization.
  • Assist in developing and evolving the strategic direction of the program.
  • Deliver direct patient care with an appropriate case load.
  • Educate and train staff, providers, and trainees on program workflows.
  • Conduct weekly individual and group consultations for the program team.
  • Participate in case conferences and clinical rounds for patient management.
  • Interface with other service providers to ensure care coordination.
  • Provide psychoeducational classes and ongoing clinical supervision for staff.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in a related field for Mental Health (PsyD or PhD).
  • Active California License as a Licensed Doctor of Psychology.
  • Minimum three years of specialized training in evidence-based, short-term treatment models.
  • Minimum three years of experience supervising healthcare professionals.
  • Minimum three years of consultative experience with knowledge of treatment recommendations.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a collaborative care mental health model.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in ambulatory care settings.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record systems.

Benefits

  • Base pay range of $131,206 - $178,262.
