About the position

The Psychologist position at Caro Psychiatric Hospital involves providing professional psychological services to individuals with mental illness. The psychologist will be part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, responsible for assessment, diagnostic information, treatment planning, and delivering therapeutic services, including both group and individual therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional psychological services for individuals admitted to the Caro Psychiatric Hospital.
  • Conduct assessments and provide diagnostic information.
  • Assist in treatment planning and program development.
  • Deliver therapeutic services, including group and individual therapy.

Requirements

  • Possession of a master's degree in psychology.
  • For Psychologist 9: No specific type or amount of experience is required.
  • For Psychologist 10: One year of professional experience providing psychological treatment equivalent to a Psychologist 9.
  • For Psychologist P11: Two years of professional experience providing psychological treatment equivalent to a Psychologist, including one year equivalent to a Psychologist 10.
  • Possession of a temporary master's limited license, master's limited license, doctoral limited license, or full license to practice psychology in Michigan.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge and experience in Psychology Disorders, Treatment, and Assessments.
  • Experience with NGRI and IST individuals.
  • Knowledge and experience with I-Team Concept and the ability to work with others.
