Part-Time Psychiatrist
About The Position
St. Vincent’s Hospital, a division of Saint Joseph’s Medical Center, has a part-time position (2 days per week) for a BC/BE psychiatrist to work on our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team based in Staten Island, NY. The psychiatrist works as part of a multidisciplinary team providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management services to half of the team's 68 clients. The psychiatrist works closely with the team leader to provide clinical supervision to the team including the team’s psychiatric nurse practitioner. Work is community based, client centered, and recovery oriented. There is active collaboration with other treatment providers and the client's support system.

- Provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management services to half of the team's 68 clients.
- Provide clinical supervision to the team, including the team's psychiatric nurse practitioner, in close collaboration with the team leader.
