As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover. As a Psychiatrists with Team ND work within a multidisciplinary team to serve individuals/families experiencing severe and persistent behavioral health disorders with associated significant functional impact. As a psychiatrist, you'll provide in-person onsite and community outreach prescription management services to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person onsite and community outreach prescription management services to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to serve individuals/families experiencing severe and persistent behavioral health disorders.
  • Ensure maintenance of certification, licensure, and continuing medical education requirements are met.
  • Deliver patient-centered, flexible, adaptable, trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
  • Form collaborative relationships with local treatment teams and statewide partners.

Requirements

  • Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Active unrestricted ND license.
  • Active unrestricted DEA registration number.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible.
  • Valid driver's license or consistent transportation.
