As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover. As a Psychiatrists with Team ND work within a multidisciplinary team to serve individuals/families experiencing severe and persistent behavioral health disorders with associated significant functional impact. As a psychiatrist, you'll provide in-person onsite and community outreach prescription management services to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person onsite and community outreach prescription management services to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to serve individuals/families experiencing severe and persistent behavioral health disorders.
- Ensure maintenance of certification, licensure, and continuing medical education requirements are met.
- Deliver patient-centered, flexible, adaptable, trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
- Form collaborative relationships with local treatment teams and statewide partners.
Requirements
- Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Active unrestricted ND license.
- Active unrestricted DEA registration number.
- Board Certification or Board Eligible.
- Valid driver's license or consistent transportation.
