About the position
Child Psychiatrist is responsible for outpatient psychiatric care of clients, liaison for hospital and structure emergency care for patients, and participation in patient care teams. Psychiatrist demonstrates knowledge of co-occurring disorders and appropriate interventions. Primary responsibilities are treatment planning based on diagnostic need. Psychiatrist works collaboratively with a wide range of clinical professionals to ensure treatment is holistic and recovery focused. New patient appointments are 60 minutes and follow ups 30 minutes. Additional Psychiatrist responsibilities include lab management, treatment team participation, documentation in EHR, documentation for Patient Assistance Program (free pharmaceutical programs). No on-call, no weekends or holiday hours. Monday through Friday some evening hours desired. Robust benefit options available. Normal office hours, with some evening and weekend clinic hours for clients. Generally will treat over 20 patients daily.

Requirements
- Medical Degree with child psychiatry specialty
- Previous experience in community-based mental health organization is desired
- Extensive experience diagnosing mental health problems with adult & children clients
- Must have appropriate credentials to practice psychiatry in Oklahoma
