About The Position

We are seeking both part-time and full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to perform tele-psychiatric visits for clients based in North Carolina. This role offers the flexibility and autonomy of private practice within a supportive team environment, including mentorship and training. The compensation model is 1099, and you can build your own schedule within operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, with a minimum commitment of 16 hours per week.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
• Active North Carolina Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
• ANCC Board Certification
• 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
• Strong assessment skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ambitious, client-centric work ethic
• Must have own computer and a quiet, professional space to take tele-psychiatry appointments
• North Carolina DEA Certification

Nice To Haves

• Psychiatric Nursing: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial evaluations and collaboratively develop treatment plans with clients for medication, therapy, or a combination of both.
• Proactively follow up with clients at minimum on a monthly basis to assess for efficacy of recommended interventions and ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved.
• Provide various modalities of talk therapy, as clients strongly prefer combined medication and therapy appointments.
