About the position
The Property Manager at MAA is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a multifamily property, ensuring high standards of customer service and resident satisfaction. This role involves managing a team, maintaining property standards, and handling financial and leasing activities to create a thriving community for residents.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the property, including oversight of the Service Manager and service team.
- Cultivate an environment of accountability and trust among team members.
- Ensure staff performance meets company standards.
- Maintain the community to brand standards.
- Oversee marketing and leasing effectiveness.
- Enhance resident retention and satisfaction.
- Manage property financials and lease documents.
- Ensure audit compliance.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
- Five to seven years of experience in multifamily property management.
- One to three years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Valid driver's license from the state of residence.
