About the position

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a 130-unit complex in Boca Raton, ensuring the property is well-maintained, fully occupied, and profitable. This role involves managing tenant relations, leasing and marketing, property maintenance, budgeting, and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Managing tenant relations by communicating with tenants, addressing concerns or issues, and ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction.
  • Leasing and marketing by advertising available units, screening potential tenants, and negotiating lease agreements.
  • Coordinating regular maintenance and repairs, managing contractors, and ensuring that the properties are well-kept.
  • Developing and managing property budgets, collecting rent, and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ensuring that all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including fair housing laws.
  • Providing regular reports to property owners or management on the performance of the property.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in property management for apartment buildings.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Track record of driving results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth lease up experience with apartment buildings.
  • A deep understanding of the Florida real estate market and regulations.
