About the position
The Property Insurance Inspector role at CIS Group of Companies involves conducting field underwriting inspections primarily for residential properties. As a contracted inspector, you will be responsible for traveling to various locations, taking photographs, gathering property data, and uploading this information using a smartphone or computer. Responsibilities
- Travel to residential homes to conduct property inspections.
- Take exterior and, when necessary, interior photographs of properties.
- Gather and upload property data using a smartphone or computer.
- Work independently as a 1099 contractor, managing your own schedule.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License is required.
- Must have a fairly recent smartphone or tablet capable of taking and storing hundreds of pictures.
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi for data upload.
- Must own a reliable vehicle for travel to inspection sites.
- Good communication skills are essential.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Workers' compensation law is preferred.
