About the position

The Promotions Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Promotions department. This role involves managing staff, coordinating promotions and special events, and ensuring that all promotional activities adhere to established standards and timeframes.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff and conduct performance reviews
  • Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
  • Plan, develop and coordinate promotions and special events on and off property adhering to established timeframes
  • Responsible for promotional issues that may arise before, during and after events
  • Establish, write and route official promotional rules property-wide
  • Approve set-up of promotional software applications
  • Assist with developing an annual budget
  • Generate necessary requests to ensure invoices are paid promptly
  • Report on winners, prize distribution and guest counts
  • Work with vendors on gift selection and purchase
  • Drive attendants to off-site events

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
  • 3 years hospitality or customer service experience
  • 1 year supervisory experience
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Highly organized and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
