Our work depends on a Project/Task Manager joining our team to evolve and maintain network infrastructure for the Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical, administrative, and operational management to assigned projects or task(s), including contract and subcontractor management
- Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, schedules and task order and administrative reporting
- Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality
- Manage the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflicts
- Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload
- Manages risk management and tracking process
- Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison
- Coordinates development of deliverables and products
- Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables
- Manages medium to large teams working on complex technical projects
- Use and continually develop leadership skills
- Coordinates and monitors the scrum process from initiation through delivery
- Act as Scrum Master where the contractor will facilitate and coordinate Agile Scrum processes, working collaboratively and efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that the work progresses on schedule, within budget, and to the desired level of quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Substitutions will be based on additional years of experience)
- 10+ years of related experience
- US Citizenship Required
- Required Technical Skills: Project Management, People Management, Deliverables Management, Stakeholder Management, Project Planning, IT Project Management
- Security Clearance Level: DOE Q or TS
- Required Skills and Abilities: Written and Oral Communication; Organization, Problem Solving, Communication, and Teamwork
