About the position

The Project Manager at Delta Industrial Services Inc is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of custom web converting equipment during its transition to customer facilities. This role includes providing training on existing equipment and ensuring that manufacturing processes are optimized for quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support prototyping activities of new product and process development
• Participate in concurrent engineering design reviews
• Improve manufacturing processes and methods for quality improvement, efficiency, and cost reduction
• Evaluate and solve web converting and coating process issues
• Train operators or conduct training to introduce new processes
• Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods, and controls
• Perform equipment and process set up on web converting and coating equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred
• 3+ years' experience in evaluating and optimizing web converting manufacturing processes
• Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analysis skills
• Excellent communication skills
