About the position

Feddon Mechanical, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Mechanical or Plumbing to oversee various plumbing projects. The role involves managing project schedules, budgets, and relationships with general contractors and suppliers, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will be part of a dedicated team in a reputable company known for its quality craftsmanship and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or multiple small to large plumbing projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors and owners.
• Gather best pricing and ensure on-time delivery of materials from vendors and suppliers.
• Submit change orders and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Track project schedules and budgets.
• Ensure project completion is safe, timely, and within budget.
• Manage employee scheduling on projects and oversee subcontracts.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and conduct submittal reviews.
• Coordinate progress billings with the accounting department.
• Attend progress meetings with general contractors and maintain detailed records of correspondence with clients.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in new construction/commercial mechanical or plumbing.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Working knowledge of mechanical systems and plumbing codes.
• Understanding of various types of pipe system materials and connection methods.
• Ability to understand job schedules, job costing, and perform take-offs using prints or on-site.
• Experience in preparing RFIs and RFCOs.
• Strong communication skills to work with vendors and team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe; CAD and BlueBeam experience is a plus.
