About the position

The Project Manager will oversee highly complex, multi-year projects within the insurance and investment sectors, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high client satisfaction. This role requires strong project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage highly complex, broad, and/or multi-year projects end-to-end to deliver business outcomes.
• Develop detailed, robust, high-quality project plans including resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions, dependencies, etc.
• Recognize the impact of scope changes and adjust project plans accordingly.
• Act as the first responder to project risks and recommend solutions.
• Interface regularly with internal senior management and client executive level personnel.
• Negotiate resource requirements with responsible management when faced with conflicts in priorities.
• Explore intricate solutions to complex business requirements for projects.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in project functionality and planning tools.
• Delegate work to and guide professional and support staff, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Review, mentor, and coach lower level professional and support staff.

Requirements

• 8+ years of project management experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience managing high visibility projects in enterprise companies.
