About the position

The Project Manager - Imaging Services will oversee the entire project lifecycle for various deployment and installation projects, software updates, and field tests for retail customers. This role involves managing resources, task assignments, and monitoring deliverables while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders and providing status reports to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with key internal stakeholders responsible for hardware and software deployments.
  • Define, document, and manage the overall process for installation cycles in collaboration with the Imaging sales department.
  • Document and manage a stakeholder register identifying key internal stakeholders for successful software and product development.
  • Define the management escalation process for project deliverables.
  • Update and manage the evolution of the business process to optimize efficiency with available resources.
  • Define, agree, and publish a detailed project plan with associated documents for all product rollouts.
  • Define deliverables, dates, milestones, dependencies, risks, and contingency plans.
  • Ensure sign-off and commitment to the plan by all stakeholder business groups.
  • Manage customer awareness and approvals via Product Management and Sales Team.
  • Track deliverables to ensure projects remain on track to published schedules.
  • Define and manage customer sign-off of deliverable plans.
  • Actively manage issues with stakeholders to maintain performance against the schedule.
  • Manage a team of 5+ and oversee software and reporting teams responsible for ongoing systems development.
  • Manage internal communication ensuring a unified voice across all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate effective external customer communication regarding project definitions and status updates.
  • Escalate issues with urgency to management where there may be a project impact.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a service-related and/or technical discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience managing technical service projects.
  • 3+ years of management experience.
  • Proficient with project management software tools.
  • Experience in coordinating multiple teams to deliver and support products and services.
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in creating project charter documents including statements of work and technical documentation.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
