The primary function of this position is to manage HVAC and Plumbing projects while developing and sustaining client relationships. The role requires solidifying and building relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, managing project deliverables, and overseeing the billing scheduling. The individual will be responsible for the submittal and closeout process, project coordination including RFIs and coordination drawings, and manpower control. Additionally, the position involves managing and successfully closing construction contracts within the gross margins established by management, coordinating manpower as required with other projects in the company, and budgeting and cost control. The individual will also develop and deliver project-related client presentations, proactively pursue additional knowledge in related disciplines through training, and actively participate in meetings and initiatives that support department and firm-wide goals. Meeting technical, contractual, schedule, budgetary, and client service objectives for each project is essential. The role may also involve acting as a Quality Control reviewer on projects periodically. Consistent on-site attendance is a requirement of the job, with work primarily from the main office. Some travel within the State of Michigan is required, but remote field assignments are not anticipated.
