About the position
We are seeking an experienced Glass and Glazing Project Manager to oversee and execute glass and glazing projects, ensuring timely completion and exceptional quality. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a strong background in project management within the glass and glazing industry.
Responsibilities
- Manage glass and glazing projects from start to finish, adhering to scope, budget, and timeline.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans.
- Coordinate project activities, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct site visits for quality control and safety compliance.
- Communicate project updates to stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation and foster relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the glass and glazing industry.
- Strong knowledge of glass and glazing systems, techniques, and materials.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make timely decisions.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
