About the position

The Project Manager for Corporate Office Campus Renovations is responsible for providing consulting services to a financial services client account, focusing on achieving strategic business objectives through infrastructure upgrades, tenant improvements, and interior fit-outs. This role involves managing projects from initiation to completion, including planning, design, construction, and occupancy, primarily within the Mid-Atlantic region. The position is hybrid, requiring site visits to the corporate campus in Richmond, VA, and involves up to 10% out-of-market travel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Interface directly with clients to prepare project elements such as scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budget, work plan schedule, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Conduct standard requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing mentorship and direction to achieve goals.
  • Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
  • Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of the job subject area and related fields.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience; a combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and prior financial services client experience preferred.
  • General knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices, with the ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Project.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in managing projects in the financial services sector.
