About the position

The Project Manager, Campaign, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Food Share's capital campaign aimed at raising funds for a new warehouse and commercial kitchen. This role involves coordinating communication among various stakeholders, managing campaign activities, and ensuring that the project stays on schedule and within budget. The Project Manager will serve as the central point of information for the campaign, facilitating collaboration and tracking progress towards fundraising goals.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as Project Manager for all aspects of the Food Share's capital campaign, including preparation, implementation, evaluation and completion.
  • Facilitates campaign communication within the Development team, and among all Food Share departments.
  • Facilitates communication with campaign counsel and government relations agency.
  • Gathers information for campaign materials and reviews, evaluates and provides feedback on them.
  • Coordinates campaign activities and events, organizing and monitoring staff and volunteer assignments.
  • Prepares and sends campaign correspondence to donors and community members.
  • Tracks campaign budget, progress toward goals, outstanding proposals, recognition opportunities, and other key campaign information.
  • Schedules and prepares meetings, records key decisions, tracks action items, and follows up as needed to ensure that tasks are completed.
  • Maintains campaign calendar and communicates key dates to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant, full-time work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organization skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Experience identifying and safeguarding confidential information and materials.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen (excluding THC) and full background check, including eligibility to work with vulnerable populations.
  • Must pass driving record check and be insurable through Marion-Polk Food Share's vehicle insurance policy.
