About the position

The position at CoolSys involves leading and mentoring the EMS project crew, ensuring efficient project completion through effective communication and delegation of responsibilities. The role requires hands-on support in programming and installing various HVAC and refrigeration systems while maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor the EMS project crew.
• Promote teamwork and monitor project progress for optimal productivity and safety.
• Program controllers and install necessary equipment for HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, communicating any changes to the Project Manager.
• Perform related duties such as parts ordering and procurement.
• Maintain daily communication with account managers and facility managers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, with trade or technical school certification.
• 5+ years of experience in construction or related industry.
• Knowledge of high voltage electrical power systems (115V, 208V, 460V).
• Understanding of low voltage control circuits and network architecture.
• Operational knowledge of EMS boards, modules, and sensors.
• Ability to read and understand power and control circuit diagrams.
• Knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with supermarket refrigeration systems and control valves.
• Familiarity with variable frequency drives (VFD's) and refrigerant pressures.
