About the position

The Acquisition Program Manager Analyst will support the Propulsion Directorate at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH, providing comprehensive program management support in accordance with various defense acquisition guidelines. The role involves planning, executing, analyzing, and controlling acquisition programs throughout their lifecycle, while advising government personnel. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and prioritize tasks to ensure program success.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of documentation of acquisition strategies.
  • Create program documentation as identified in AFI 63-101/20-101, Integrated Life Cycle Management.
  • Draft Statements of Work or Performance Work Statements and other Request for Proposal documents.
  • Support technical evaluation of program proposals.
  • Identify, analyze, mitigate development, and monitor program risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Develop and analyze detailed program data such as Integrated Master Schedules and trends.
  • Analyze program cost performance and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

  • 3 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 1 year relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Active SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TOP SECRET with SCI (TS/SCI) clearance.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated application of program management policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience supporting teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Tableau, and/or Visio.
  • Experience with Power Platforms (BI, Apps, Automate).
  • Experience with process automation and data analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Avionics, Electro/Environmental, flight operations, or Propulsion experience.
  • Comprehensive experience developing and maintaining spreadsheets for tracking and analysis.
  • Agile development experience.
  • Software development using languages such as Python and Java.
