About the position

Responsible for coordinating program management activities from proposal stage through completion. Will work directly with program manager on coordinating all activities critical to program execution. Coordinates with all functional support organizations as well as operations teams on solving issues facing the program. Works closely with the customer on program topics. Supports all phases of programs from inception through completion. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes. Supports the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications of the contract. Supports milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions. Manage major subcontractors period of performance and scope of work related to supporting milestones on the program. Responsible for coordinating vendor service requests in support of the program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of shipyard professional experience; OR Master's Degree and 6 years of shipyard professional experience.
