About the position

The Project Manager at Haemonetics is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budgets. This role involves engaging resources, ensuring quality control, and building strong client relationships through effective communication. The Project Manager will create and execute work plans for projects of moderate scope and complexity, manage daily operational aspects, and facilitate team and client meetings to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Engage resources and ensure quality control throughout projects.
  • Build a knowledge base of each client's business and objectives.
  • Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Create and execute work plans for projects of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Communicate relevant project information to superiors effectively.
  • Maintain project documents and quality assurance procedures.
  • Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
  • Hold regular status meetings with the project team.
  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Manage daily operational aspects of a project, including client expectations and interaction.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Review project deliverables prepared by the team for clients.
  • Develop lasting relationships with client personnel.

Requirements

  • BA in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of clinical lab experience.
  • Blood Bank experience is required.
  • Ability to travel 25-50%.
  • Project Management certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Haemonetics products and/or software.
  • System implementation experience.
  • Ability to understand pricing models and billing procedures.
  • General understanding of application programming, database and system design.
  • Understanding of Internet, Intranet, Extranet, and client/server architectures.
  • Basic understanding of revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections.
