About the position

The Project Financial Administrator will play a key role in managing and overseeing the financial administrative responsibility for various projects. This position involves close collaboration with commercial project managers, customers, and finance to ensure effective project executions and financial success. The role requires managing project documentation and financial plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project goals. You will create and manage milestone billing/invoicing on projects, perform financial reconciliations to ensure customers have been billed correctly, and monitor and track project invoices, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions. Additionally, you will prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders, assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures for projects, and coordinate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate financial data collection and reporting. You will also support the preparation of financial and commercial documentation for cash collection, conduct financial risk assessments, and provide recommendations to mitigate risks. Assisting with project audits and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for all assigned projects will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Two plus years of experience in finance in a corporate environment.
  • General understanding of project management and financial services.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Office, SAP).
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.
