Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop project budgets and schedules
• Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
• Conduct site visits to gather information for estimating purposes
• Identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings or value engineering
• Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Project Estimator in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
• Proficient in using estimating software and tools
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with project management principles is a plus
