About the position
The Project Engineer Intern will gain practical experience in managing projects related to equipment installations and modifications at a cement plant. This role provides hands-on exposure to industrial operations, construction, and project management while collaborating closely with plant personnel and contractors to achieve operational goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising and directing on-site activities for equipment installations and modifications at the cement plant.
- Support the preparation of plans, specifications, and drawings for construction and equipment related projects.
- Participate in vendor and contractor coordination to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Work alongside plant leaders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Must possess a valid driver's license, insurance, and be insurable to drive company vehicles.
