About the position

As a Project Engineer at Kiewit, you will oversee the administrative and technical aspects of construction projects, managing a team of field and cost engineers. This role serves as the primary communication link between the Project or Construction Manager and the team, focusing on cost, revenue, and cash flow management. The position may also involve acting as the Project Manager for smaller projects, requiring strong interpersonal and time management skills.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years' work experience in construction or engineering, with a preference for vertical construction
• 2+ years' experience managing engineers and project subcontractors
• Ability to read, analyze and identify discrepancies on engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done right
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and objectives
