About The Position

The Programmatic Inventory Manager will partner with the VP, Programmatic Strategy and Sales Director, Programmatic Inventory to ensure Demandbase’s advertising platform has access to B2B-relevant, high quality, efficient, and scalable supply. This is an account manager role responsible for maintaining and optimizing partnerships with SSPs (Supply-Side Platforms) and Publishers across all ad formats (Display Banners, Video including CTV, Native, DOOH, Audio, and other emerging ad formats). The Programmatic Inventory Manager will play a key role in evolving how we manage supply, with visibility across the Advertising org, product, and executive leadership. This role offers the opportunity to optimize what inventory is bought and help drive performance of the advertising campaigns Demandbase manages.

Requirements

  • 5+ of experience in ad tech, account management, or digital advertising
  • Proven ability to effectively manage SSP and Publisher partners
  • Familiarity with DSPs (e.g. The Trade Desk, StackAdapt), SSPs (e.g. Magnite, Index Exchange), and Publishers (e.g. Netflix, Spotify); experience in B2B advertising a strong plus
  • Excellent executor who shares creative ideas for improving performance and ultimately delivers results

  • Experience working within an Inventory team for a DSP

Responsibilities

  • Provide best-in-class account management support to SSP and Publisher partners including responding to emails in a timely manner and leading meetings to ensure we’re up-to-date on their advertising offerings
  • Manage onboarding from a business perspective including guiding new supply sources on ideal setup to maximize our demand, communicating QPS caps, setting up automated reports, etc.
  • Inform supply sources about new demand-side needs (e.g. More CTV inventory in Italy)
  • Oversee private marketplace (PMP) deal execution and reporting
  • Review Inventory Dashboard to ensure we’re spending appropriately and hitting KPIs
  • Govern QPS caps across all SSP partners
  • Set up Alerts so we learn about any major changes to Inventory as soon as possible
  • Curate and optimize inventory quality & availability
  • Meet with internal Advertising teams to learn more about their Inventory requests and determine how we can address them
