About the position

The Program Planner II position at Lockheed Martin is designed for early-career professionals who will support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. The role involves developing and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to monitor program progress, ensuring compliance with baseline control processes, and utilizing critical path methodology to address performance issues. Responsibilities

  • Develop, status, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to monitor progress and assess program status.
  • Ensure established program baseline control processes are followed and oversee business rhythms required for program control and forecasting objectives.
  • Use critical path methodology, risk analysis, and problem resolution to mitigate delays and communicate schedule impacts.
  • Synchronize cost/schedule integration in support of Earned Value requirements and generate schedule metrics and reports.
  • Establish and conduct data and process quality assessments of planning products and prepare for surveillance reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of professional experience
  • Experience with Critical Path Methodology
  • Strong communication, writing & presentation skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Project, Open Plan, P6, or other planning tools, and Excel

Nice-to-haves

  • Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
  • Prefer 3+ years of professional work experience
  • Experience analyzing data
  • Familiarity with a scheduling tool such as MS Project or Open Plan Professional
  • Customer service experience
  • Presentation experience
  • Familiarity with formulas and macros in Excel
  • Familiarity with Tableau
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate with the Customer
  • Proficiency with Earned Value Management
