About the position

The Program Manager will play a critical role in managing the PMA-263 Small Tactical Unmanned Aviation Systems Program within the Department of the Navy. This position involves coordinating all functions and disciplines related to the acquisition of assigned systems and equipment, ensuring effective program management and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the PMA-263 Small Tactical Unmanned Aviation Systems Program.
• Coordinate all functions related to the acquisition of assigned systems/equipment.
• Analyze needs and develop requirements for program initiatives and plans.
• Collaborate with key personnel in the program office to define program goals and prepare comprehensive program plans.
• Determine resource needs and allocate resources for life-cycle management of the assigned program.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
• Knowledge of technical and business systems used to manage weapon systems acquisition.
• Ability to analyze needs and synthesize requirements information.
• Experience in preparing comprehensive program plans and working with program office personnel.
