About the position

Located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in the heart of Scottsdale, Devereux Arizona's 24-hour Residential Treatment Center (RTC) has the capacity to serve 52 children. The RTC is a safe, supportive environment that provides various services to youth, from the ages of 7 to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, or substance abuse challenges. The Campus features dormitories, a therapeutic K-12 day school, food services, medical/nursing, and therapy services. Reporting to the Director of Residential Services, the Program Manager leads the operations, safety, quality, and integrity of the Residential Treatment Center. This position provides direction and leadership to the campus, while fostering the Devereux mission and philosophical values of quality care and our defined culture of Servant Leadership. The Program Manager promotes teamwork, personal accountability, service excellence, respectful communication, and has a supportive approach and positive impact through effective leadership and role modeling. The Program Manager models the pillars of Servant Leadership in day-to-day functions and interactions, embraces the Arizona 12 Principles, D-PBIS (Devereux Positive Behavioral Intervention Support), ensures effective utilization of clinical best practices, and is instrumental in the oversight of the program behavior change procedures (level systems).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operations, safety, quality, and integrity of the Residential Treatment Center.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the campus.
  • Promote teamwork, personal accountability, and service excellence.
  • Model the pillars of Servant Leadership in daily functions and interactions.
  • Embrace the Arizona 12 Principles and D-PBIS.
  • Ensure effective utilization of clinical best practices.
  • Oversee program behavior change procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Psychology, Counseling, Special Education, Business Administration (M.B.A) or related field preferred.
  • Three (3) years related experience working with adolescents.
  • Two (2) years supervisory experience required.
  • Leadership skills to lead a diverse group and problem solve effectively.
  • Experience in a residential or inpatient behavioral health setting.
