About the position

This position is responsible for managing internal business projects and programs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver products from design to completion. The role involves planning and directing project schedules and budgets, monitoring progress, and engaging with external vendors as necessary. The primary focus is on project and program management, with an emphasis on process improvement and organizational change management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams responsible for internal business projects and programs.
• Plan and direct project schedules and budgets.
• Monitor projects from inception through delivery.
• Engage and oversee the work of external vendors.
• Focus on process improvement and organizational change management.
• Lead and manage teams in planning and executing business programs.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in the functional area.
• Communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze and transform needs into functional requirements.
• Create business requirements documents, test plans, and user training materials.
• Generate and distribute standard reports on schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of Program and/or Project management experience.
• Operational Process Improvement experience.
• Healthcare experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Experience partnering with different levels of leadership across the organization.

Nice-to-haves

• Graduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years of Program and/or Project management experience.
• Managed Care experience.
• Experience working in a cross-functional highly matrixed organization.
• PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and/or comparable coursework.
