About the position

The Program Director for ID/DD Services at Dungarvin is responsible for overseeing and managing programs that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role combines direct care responsibilities with supervisory duties, ensuring that programs are effectively coordinated and that staff are properly trained. The director will monitor all aspects of the program, including individual goal development, operational management, and compliance with medical and financial standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage overall assigned programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Oversee personnel management, including orientation and ongoing training for staff.
• Monitor program aspects such as developing individual goals and plans.
• Implement and manage the operations, medical, financial, and maintenance aspects of the programs.
• Be available on call and maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends and odd hours.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field of study preferred.
• At least 1 year of full-time direct experience working with participants with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
• At least 2 years of experience in management within the field of developmental disabilities.
• Demonstrated good decision-making, time management, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
