About The Position

The Director of Program Services at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services. The role involves strategic planning, program development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to enhance the well-being of clients and support the organization's mission.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in behavioral health services, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs in a behavioral health setting.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform program development and improvements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the behavioral health sector.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare management software and technology for program tracking and reporting.
  • Certain positions require a Level 2 background screening. Employment offers are contingent upon meeting applicable requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of program services, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to develop and maintain quality standards and protocols.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Manage program budgets, resources, and staff to optimize service delivery and financial performance.
  • Foster partnerships with community organizations, stakeholders, and funding bodies to enhance service offerings and support.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to program managers and staff, promoting a culture of excellence and professional development.
  • Report to senior management on program outcomes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
