About the position

The Program Coordinator Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of service/program coordinators who assist clients with disabilities in accessing in-home care services. This role involves managing a caseload of clients enrolled in Medicaid programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing leadership and training to staff. The supervisor will also engage in public speaking, client advocacy, and collaboration with stakeholders to enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and maintain a caseload of clients enrolled in Medicaid programs
  • Supervise clients' in-home care needs in compliance with Federal/State Regulations and MCO program rules
  • Supervise daily intake and referral processes to ensure positive business growth and development
  • Provide leadership and training to other staff
  • Promote cohesiveness in the office
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and client advocacy
  • Collaborate with stakeholders regarding the delivery of services
  • Communicate effectively and comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct advanced reporting and oversight activities
  • Demonstrate dependability and effective problem-solving skills
  • Handle complex service programs and special projects
  • Lead, supervise and complete special projects including large-scale enrollments and transitions
  • Market services to referral sources
  • Participate in professional development and training activities
  • Prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
  • Represent the company at stakeholder meetings, health fairs, and provider fairs
  • Supervise deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects
  • Train and oversee employees
  • Enroll clients and employees in services, web portal, and EVV systems as needed
  • Conduct necessary client assessments and home visits
  • Handle escalated complaints

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Sociology or related field preferred
  • 3 years experience working with individuals with disabilities or the elderly preferred
  • Combination of education and experience
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours as needed
