About the position
River Oaks Hospital (a UHS affiliated hospital), located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents and children. Since 1970, River Oaks has established a tradition of excellence in the treatment of acute psychiatric illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma based disorders, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders. River Oaks has provided quality treatment to service individuals suffering from mental illness, and/or addictive disorders. Situated on a 14-acre campus, services are available at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient). River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented PROGRAM COORDINATOR to supervise, coordinate, implement and deliver all therapeutic services related to the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Out Patient Program (IOP); The PHP/IOP Coordinator serves as a member of Social Services leadership team under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services. Coordinates operations of Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs to include the planning, monitoring and execution of quality patient care and clinical programs in compliance with regulatory standards. Oversees supervision of clinical therapists. Serves as clinical liaison with the continuum of care services. Contributes to the development of programs for the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs and the continuum of care. In conjunction with community resources, contributes to the maintenance of relationships with outside agencies, private practitioners, insurers and family members. Participates in marketing of the PHP and IOP. Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient's specific needs and provide clinical treatment and care. Performs duties in accordance with the facility's mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, implement and deliver all therapeutic services related to the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Out Patient Program (IOP)
- Coordinate operations of Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs
- Plan, monitor and execute quality patient care and clinical programs in compliance with regulatory standards
- Oversee supervision of clinical therapists
- Serve as clinical liaison with the continuum of care services
- Contribute to the development of programs for the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs
- Maintain relationships with outside agencies, private practitioners, insurers and family members

Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling with specialization in mental health
- Possesses an unencumbered license; i.e., LPC, LCSW; by a certified board in Louisiana or clinical supervision ongoing or completed towards obtaining LCSW/ LPC
- A minimum of two years experience in individual, group, and family therapy
- Experience in trauma and compulsive behavior treatment interventions plus relapse prevention
- Ability to assess the needs and provide the required range of treatment modalities and interventions for trauma and compulsive behavior clients
