About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for a Program Administrator Senior Manager to join their IAM Boeing Joint Programs team in Renton, WA. Established in 1989, IAM/Boeing Joint Programs is a labor/management partnership dedicated to improving the health, safety, and educational opportunities for IAM-represented employees in the Puget Sound and Portland. The ideal candidate will champion the organization's partnership, priorities, mission, and vision, recognize its history, and strive to transform its future. This individual will be proactive, an engaged self-starter, with the capability to work collaboratively and independently. Program Administrators are critical links to the customer base, so the capability and desire to establish a robust network across their assigned space is a must. This senior leader position requires a leader who can work hand in hand with their partner to set high expectations for their team, collaboratively perform their statement of work, effectively partner across teams, levels, functions, and organizations to drive improvements, consistency, and a strong culture of respect.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships and proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • 5+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects
  • Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employees and first-level managers performing activities to plan, design, deliver and maintain IAM/Boeing Joint Programs projects to improve the technical competence of the workforce
  • Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provide input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals or objectives
  • Acquire resources for department activities, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees and first-level managers
