About the position

The Program Administrator, Operations at Conquer Cancer®, the ASCO Foundation, plays a crucial role in overseeing business operations that support fundraising and compliance efforts. This position is designed for a dedicated individual who is passionate about making a difference in cancer care and is responsible for ensuring adherence to compliance regulations while managing various operational tasks. The role is hybrid, primarily based in Alexandria, VA, with an expectation of being onsite approximately 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Review and edit grant proposals drafted by fundraising teams for compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Work with staff to create and/or update compliance-related content for proposal source documents for required reporting.
  • Prepare and utilize select program activity reports and other documentation used for required reporting.
  • Prepare and submit supporter-required status reports and budget and program reconciliations in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the collection and review of transparency-related data and compliance regulations for transparency reporting, including the preparation and submission of transfer of value reports.
  • Support the development and delivery of staff compliance training for Conquer Cancer.
  • Develop the online financial disclosure and ensure review and sign-off by relevant teams and timely posting to ASCO and Conquer Cancer websites.
  • Manage the creation of all required portal accounts and updates to these accounts.
  • Conduct regular review of and updates for Conquer Cancer profiles on nonprofit transparency sites, including Charity Navigator, Candid (Guidestar), and others as determined.
  • Work with leadership to develop and implement SOPs, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other operations and compliance tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training.
  • 3 - 4 years of related work experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous work experience in nonprofits, grants management, and/or healthcare.
  • Knowledge of non-profit and general compliance issues and applications.
