About the position
As a Mover for College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction through exceptional service. This role involves a variety of tasks including customer service, logistics, and equipment operations, all within a fast-paced environment that offers excellent growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Go out of your way to be friendly to everyone you come in contact with, especially clients.
- Educate clients about pricing and services before providing estimates to ensure satisfaction.
- Safely operate the moving truck and perform daily inspections.
- Ensure the truck is stocked with necessary receipts, safety equipment, and marketing materials.
- Price jobs aggressively and meet or surpass benchmarks.
- Make logistical decisions regarding job completion and item handling.
- Lead by example and demonstrate the company's core values.
- Help train new hires on day-to-day operations and core values.
- Check in regularly with the direct supervisor for additional assignments.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds with a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Valid/Active Driver's License.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Drug and alcohol-free.
- Must be able to pass a federal background check.
