About The Position

The Production Worker is responsible for the complete lifecycle management of used intermediate bulk containers (IBC totes). This includes receiving, disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling (rebottling) units to restore them to a safe, clean, and functional condition for reuse in industrial applications, while complying with all regulations. This position involves physical labor, operating industrial equipment and hand tools, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in industrial manufacturing
  • Highest level of innovation and problem-solving skills to influence overall efficiency, improvements in productivity, outcomes, etc.
  • Use verbal skills to transfer information to operators, maintenance, and management.
  • Complete reports such as production, quality, and inventory legibly.
  • Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios.
  • Proficiency with internal manufacturing systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, kneel/stoop, and walk for the duration of the shift.
  • Requires good hand/eye/foot coordination.
  • Vision: 20/20 corrected; and normal hearing range.
  • Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment – cold in winter months and hot in the summer months.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations.
  • Utilize proper PPE at all times.
  • Produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed.
  • Comply with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Complete Manufacturing/Quality documents.
  • Communicate internally concerning deviations or general requests.
  • Assist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Verify compliance to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Complete reports as necessary internally.
  • Independently operate machines, equipment, and produce production parts to required tolerances.
  • Read and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as needed.
  • Install plugs, capseals, rings, and other specified parts or materials.
  • Utilize various hand tools, including but not limited to air guns, plug wrenches, and capseal tools in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining appropriate speed with production flow.
  • Demonstrate acceptable level of capabilities in all areas of the Plant during General Labor Rotation.
  • Report any conditions of concern regarding products, materials, or safety immediately to Production Manager, SHEQ, or Plant Manager.
  • Utilize Company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc.
  • Follow direction and product required quantities.
  • Maintain working area in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
  • Attend all required meetings and trainings.
  • Perform all other duties as required or requested.
