About the position
The Production Utility Operator B2A at McCain Foods is responsible for performing equipment operator functions in the absence of regular operators and ensuring that all assigned factory equipment and work areas are kept clean and sanitary. This role is essential in maintaining operational efficiency and hygiene standards within the manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform all equipment operator functions in the absence of regular operator(s).
- Ensure all assigned factory equipment and work areas are continuously clean and sanitary.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED).
- Prior experience as an Operator in a manufacturing facility is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Demonstrated computer skills and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
