About the position
This position provides technical support for Production Operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Troy, Alabama. The role involves supporting the development of automated test equipment, manufacturing test planning, preparation of test procedures, and troubleshooting test anomalies. It requires a strong understanding of electronic circuits and automated test software, along with the ability to analyze and resolve faults in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the development of automated test equipment.
- Manufacturing test planning and preparation of test procedures from engineering.
- Support electro-mechanical integration.
- Perform test anomaly troubleshooting and fault resolution.
- Evaluate electrical test results and conduct detailed failure analysis.
- Develop and implement root cause and corrective/preventative actions.
- Utilize statistical data analysis for trend analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or 6 years of related professional experience.
- Working knowledge of electronic testing methods in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with programming languages C, C++, C#, Visual C or Visual Basic.
- Familiarity with National Instrument's -Windows CVI, Test-Stand, and NI -View software.
- Strong hands-on assembly/disassembly/troubleshooting skills of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with DELMIA Apriso MES and SAP ERP tools.
