About the position

The Production Technician at PartsSource is responsible for the refurbishment of x-ray tube assemblies, ensuring quality assurance and performance testing. This role involves working with diagnostic equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and promoting teamwork to deliver accurate guest care. The technician will also document test results and maintain a clean work area while adhering to safety and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Refurbishment of x-ray tube assemblies
• Replace x-ray tube inserts and biodegradable components
• Conduct quality assurance testing of x-ray tube housing assemblies
• Perform pre-labeling and final QC on finished assemblies
• Inspect equipment and evaluate performance using diagnostic tools
• Promote teamwork to ensure timely and accurate guest care
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure equipment calibration
• Document test results and maintain work area cleanliness
• Rework products as requested by the Director of Engineering

Requirements

• Basic computer skills including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
• Ability to use a multi-meter (voltmeter)
• Experience with mechanical tools such as Allen wrenches, hand drills, and wire cutters
• Ability to use a soldering iron
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting
