You will read, understand, and use Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMI's), Job-Safety Analysis' (JSA), and schedules to accomplish daily production tasks. Further you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as business needs arise. You will follow step by step instructions detailed by senior operators in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions. Additionally, you will display the ability to perform basic and accurate math for production needs using a calculator and provided spreadsheets. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be expected to complete tasks on-time while meeting safety and quality requirements. You will perform the operation of machines, fork trucks, and/or associated equipment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A High School diploma/GED is required.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and understand work instructions.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to operate fork truck, electric hoist, scales, and label machines.
  • Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, climbing, and capable of lifting 40lbs.
  • Ability to wear a full face or half face respirator.

Nice-to-haves

  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Suite are preferred.
