About The Position

The Production Technician meets daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts. This role involves working safely in a team environment, interpreting specification sheets and mechanical drawings, and using precision measuring instruments. The technician will also be responsible for setting up and troubleshooting equipment, assisting other shifts, and maintaining a clean work area. Familiarity with basic lab equipment and safety procedures is required, along with the ability to collect samples, mix solutions, and conduct basic lab tests under supervision. Documentation of test results is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and/or mechanical drawings
Proficient in precision measurement or become proficient through training
Familiar with use of beakers, pipettes, hot plates, and other basic lab equipment
Experienced in basic Lab Safety
Ability to lift/move and/or push/pull up to 20 lbs. frequently
Ability to lift/move and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
