The Production Supervisor on the night shift shall be responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed on their shift. This includes coordinating the processes and people involved in the production, storage, refrigeration, and load-out of products manufactured during their shift. The role also involves assisting in the training, scheduling, inventorying, and staffing of the shift. The supervisor must be familiar with and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices, company rules, policies, and procedures, Quality Control standards, OSHA regulations, and EPA guidelines. They must also be familiar with S.Q.F. standards and work with employees, auditing firms, and government agencies to ensure compliance. This position is within a fluid milk and cultured products dairy manufacturing operation and the applicant will be responsible for the finish-up, clean-up, and start-up of the operation. The individual will be working different days and different shifts to ensure compliance, quality, and quantity of work. They must be able to work independently and with others, possess good telephone skills, and be able to communicate both orally and in writing.
