About the position

The position involves leading team members in daily manufacturing operations within a designated area and shift at Grande. The role focuses on organizing and communicating daily schedules, monitoring activities to meet production requirements, and resolving issues related to scheduling, equipment, quality, and safety. The individual will be accountable for safety, quality, continuous improvement, and overall performance of the facility while promoting Grande's mission and culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead team members in daily manufacturing operations within an assigned area and shift.
• Organize and communicate daily schedule to the team.
• Monitor and coordinate activities to meet production requirements.
• Make decisions and resolve problems related to scheduling, equipment, quality, safety, and other production matters.
• Accountable for safety, quality, continuous improvement, and performance of the facility.
• Promote Grande's mission and culture positively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Leadership, Industrial Tech or related field strongly desired.
• Three or more years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Experience and/or training related to management/leadership skills required.
• Knowledge and experience of lean principles and process optimization.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in lean manufacturing, such as Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local food and water regulations, including CFR, FSMA, the PMO, and Bioterrorism Act preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
