About the position
Peco Foods is searching for Production Supervisors in West Point, MS. The Production Supervisor will be the direct supervisor of assigned line production staff (approximately 20-65). Responsibilities include verifying daily & weekly payroll time sheets for all employees in the department, managing daily and weekly paperwork such as attendance, vacation requests, disciplinary action, and yield & production reporting. The supervisor must be familiar with the various types of machinery in the assigned Department and ensure that all products produced meet the highest level and standard of quality. This includes physically inspecting products for defects and complying with all corporate safety and plant policies. The supervisor is also responsible for maintaining personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies, following written specifications for packaging and labeling of products, and identifying and reporting any suspicious situations to the immediate supervisor or plant management official.

- Identify and report any suspicious situations to the immediate supervisor or plant management
Requirements
- 1-3 years of leadership experience, preferably in a supervisory role in the poultry industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Demonstrated successful supervisory skills, writing skills, and creative & effective problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of computers & related software
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
