The Production Planning & Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining inventory levels to keep plants operating at optimal levels with minimal downtime. This role ensures material availability for all operations in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee daily activities of warehouse personnel.
  • Maintain & consolidate report of monthly inventory for each Operating location.
  • Ensure Cycle Counts are completed each month.
  • Report monthly Additions to Inventory.
  • Provide products with the best quality, which is most cost effective that meets or exceeds our internal requirements.
  • Maintain financial Inventory Control Data.
  • Ensure off site warehouse maintains the proper housekeeping in accordance with Imerys policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates the movement of stagnant inventory with the Commercial team.
  • Completes monthly reviews of Inventory.
  • Ensures proper level of Hydrous clay is maintained to allow Warehouse D to operate at optimum levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 3 years experience in Production Warehousing & Inventory Control Management OR at least 5 years experience in Production Warehousing & Inventory Control Management
  • Computer applications - Finance system, E-mail, Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel
